Honoring Our Heroes on Veterans Day

Today we celebrate Veterans Day – a day to honor the service of all military members, past and present. Celebrated since 1919, Veterans Day allows us to thank those who have served our country during war or peacetime.

Thank You NVI Veterans

To our NVI veterans – we thank you for serving our country so bravely and we feel honored to have you as part of our NVI family. Today we honor you for your bravery, sacrifice, and your dedication to our country.

While we know there are many who have sacrificed for our country, here are just a few of the brave men and women who we proudly call one of our own.

Noel Cannon – US Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, 1974-1977

Ron Refec – US Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, April 1996 to August 2000.

Terry Palmer – US Army, stationed at Schweinfurt Germany in 1974

When asked for his thoughts on Veterans Day, Ron says,

“At the end of the day, the best way to truly celebrate Veterans Day is to simply find a veteran, look him or her in the eyes and just thank them for their service. As a company, we should not only recognize veterans once a year, but also recognize the tremendous benefits they bring to us and engage in an ongoing strategy to employ more veterans and strengthen our NVI family. I’m proud to be part of a company that does both. Veterans Day is also a day to reflect and be reminded that today, we still have brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers and relatives putting their lives on the line for our country.”
